Our very
own Jocelyn Wana, a Filipina from Sison, Pangasinan is currently making
waves in Norway, as she sings her first composition, a Norwegian single
entitled Jeg elsker deg (I love you).
She used to be a nurse in Ospital ng Makati before she left the country to try her luck abroad. Even while working as a health personnel in a convalescent home, she still managed to pursue her dream as a musician. She’s the lead vocalist of a Norwegian band called “Jowana” which was launched this year, October 2014, with Geir Hagen (guitarist) and Robert Hagen (base guitar). Their band also performed in Støttekonsert for Ukraina, a solidarity concert for Ukraine. She wanted not just to become a singer but a total performer. She opted to compose her own songs, to inspire originality and creativity as an artist.
Aside from being a singer, she’s also a lover of sports activities such as badminton, table tennis, and chess. She’s also into swimming, drawing, biking, skiing, and hiking.
